Before you begin Landmark University post UTME application, you need to know “that Landmark University does not have any outside agent to help with the 2015/2016 admission exercise. The use of such agent is at candidate’s own risk and candidates should desist from using third party in processing their applications”.

Landmark University post UTME Application Instruction.

Visit our Admission application portal via http://admission.lmu.edu.ng to complete the application payment form.
Complete the application payment form with the necessary and accurate details. Please note that your UTME registration number, a valid email address and GSM number will be required
After completing and submitting the application payment form, a preview of the application is display. Verify its authenticity and correctness, then click on “Pay” button to make payment.
You will be redirected to the payment page where you are expected to make payment of N 5,000 application along with a processing charge depending on the payment channel selected. Please note that you will need an ATM Card (Verve, Visa, MasterCard or E-Tranzact Card) to complete your payment.
After completing the payment, you will be redirected back to our admission portal and a message and sms containing your login credential and further details will be forwarded to the supplied email address and phone number respectively.
You are expected to return to our Admission application portal via http://admission.lmu.edu.ng/app to login with the credentials, upload your passport (which must be in JPEG format and not more than 200KB in size) and complete your application form.
After completing the application form, you are expected to submit and print out copies of the completed form, which contains the details supplied by you and your application form number.
Please note that there will be POST-UTME screening exercise, which will take place at a later date to be announced. Further information will be communicated via the email address and phone number supplied when filling the application fee form.
PLEASE NOTE: You are expected to come along with the original copies and photocopies of all necessary documents.

Federal Poly Bauchi Post UTME Registration Details – 2015/16

The Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi post UTME form for the 2015/2016 academic session admission exercise is out.

This is to inform the general public that the sales of Application form for admission into various National Diploma (ND) programmes in the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi (FPTB) has commenced.

Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Admission Requirements.

Candidates must possess at least four (5) credit Passes at SSCE/NECO level, or equivalent qualification obtained at one or two sittings which MUST include English Language and Mathematics in addition to any other three passes relevant to the area of interest. All candidates are required to sit and pass for the Post JAMB examination.
All ND applicants must ensure he/she possesses the Minimum UTME cut-off marks of 150.

How to Apply for Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Post UTME.

The application form is #2000 for ND programmes.

1. Go to Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi Post UTME registration portal @ http://portal.fptb.edu.ng/application
2. Click on the green button with ‘Start New Registration’ on it.
3. Enter Your Fullname, Phone Number and Choice of Programme (Course) of study
4. Make sure you enter all information correctly, because your phone number will serve as your password, You can make modifications at this stage as much as you like before payment
5. After Clicking on ‘Proceed’, A payment information page will be generated for you to make your payment. Print it and proceed to the bank to make payment. You are to use the application number generated for you in making the payment.
6. On successful payment, you can then login with your application number and phone number as password to proceed with the rest of the application.
7. You can also make payment using an ATM, Quickteller- quickteller.com/bauchipoly – (Look for Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Logo and Name) or any other medium using your VERVE, MASTER CARD or NAIRA MASTER CARD. Use the one that is most convenient and safe for you.

ESUT Postgraduate Admission Form is Out – 2015/16 [Guidelines]

Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT postgraduate admission forms for the 2015/2016 academic session is out.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) postgraduate programmes (PGD, M. Sc, Ph. D) for the 2015/2016 Academic Session.

ESUT Postgraduate Diploma Admission Requirements – PGD.

Basic Admission Requirements

1. All candidates must have five credit passes including English, Mathematics and two other relevant science subjects at ‘O’ Level.
2. Candidates with Bachelor’s Degree From an approved University must obtain a minimum of pass degree in the relevant science discipline.
3. Holders of HND in relevant programmes from approved institutions with a minimum of upper credit may also be considered for admission.

ESUT Master of Science Admission Requirements – M.Sc.

The criteria for admission into the masters programme (M.Sc.) will be as follows:
All candidates must have five credit passes including English. Mathematics and two other Relevant science subjects at ‘O’ Level.

Academic Master’s Degree Programme

Academic Master’s Programmes qualify candidates for higher degrees while professional programmes are terminal.

1. Candidates with bachelor’s degree from an approved university must obtain a minimum of second class lower division with a CGPA of 3.0/5.0 for an academic programme.
2. Candidates with at least a third class Degree or HND and university PGD with CGPA of 3.0/5.0 may be considered for admission into academic Master’s Degree Programmes.

Professional Master’s Degree Programmes

1. Candidates for Professional Master’s Degree Programme must obtain a minimum of second class lower division.
2. Candidates with university Degree in Third Class or HND plus a university PGD at credit level pass, (i.e. CGPA of 3.0/5.0) or 50% on weighted percentages average may be considered for admission into professional Master’s Degree Programmes.
3. All candidates must demonstrate adequate intellectual capacity, maturity and effective decision making and problem solving potentials.

ESUT Doctor of Philosophy Admission Requirements – Ph.D.

Basic Admission Requirements for Doctorate Programmes
Candidates for Ph.D. admission must satisfy the following conditions:

1. Candidate must have five credit passes including English, mathematics and two other relevant science subject at O’ Level.
2. Candidates with Bachelor’s degree from approved universities must obtain a minimum of second class lower Division with a CPGA of 3.0/5.0.
3. Candidates must have Academic master’s Degree in relevant areas with a CGPA of 4.0/5.0 and thesis scored not lower than 60% (B).
4. Candidates must demonstrate adequate intellectual capacity, maturity and effective decision making and problem solving potentials.

Nigerian Student wins havard business School Award

According to a statement, published on the school’s official website, each year they ask students a simple question, taken from the lines of a poem by Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Mary Oliver. The question read: “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
The Guardian reports that Ezeigwe’s response was the best one and she won “The Portrait Project”.
She wrote: “‘Where are you from?’ is a question I struggle to answer. I pause when asked, and finally mumble a response that feels roughly accurate. Truth is: I’m part tourist, part native in many places. I’m frequently described as ‘lucky’ to have been exposed to many enviable experiences globally. I feel lucky, mostly, but a big part of me wishes I had the choice to grow up in the land of my birth (Nigeria), wishes I had the choice to attend high school and university with childhood friends, wishes I had the choice to start my career close to family.

“When you’re from the third world, if you’re lucky, staying home is rarely an option. You migrate to get a world-class education; you stay abroad to find the opportunities that set you up for the career success you desire. You leave loved ones behind, make new friends, lose touch with old ones and feel like a terrible daughter when you don’t make it home in time to call mum before she falls asleep, hours ahead and halfway across the world from you.
“This is why I want to spend my life contributing to the social and economic transformation of Africa. I want to grow companies and build institutions that give our children a true chance to let home be home. I want to see Africa become a destination that can nurture the ambition and success that I’ve travelled so far away to find. And so I am lucky to finally be going home”.
Earlier this year, we reported about a 17-year-old high school senior who also achieved unbelievable success, when he was accepted by eight of the most prestigious universities in  the world.
